This is right on. I myself struggle with self-value, preventing me from taking a risk when getting to know people and leaving me without close relationships. Overall, I am just a paranoid, scared person.

I need inner healing in these areas.

I think a nice job will get me past these issues but no it will make it worst because it will go unexamined. (forgot to mention I haven't really worked in over two-three years.) I feel really far behind my peers.

I have started being discipled and hope to work through these things. Thanks.

I was widdled down to humility over the course of two years. Came back from Iraq (where I had been a USAID advisor), went to rehab (recovered), turned 30 (single), lost my job, lost my father, realized my career was ending, and returned home to my mothers house, penniless, jobless, homeless and just when I thought ok, this is it - my school began the process of losing its accreditation. At that point, I don't think I had many more buried secrets. They were all being dug up and I had to look at alot of very painful things during those two years. What you hide will ultimately destroy you. You know what I was hiding? My degree. But my desire to redeem myself through a new undergrad degree in theology will hopefully be of good to this world at some point.
